Vi/Vim is a simple editor, but it is very powerful for programmer. Basically Vim approach is different from other editors. Read reasons why you should using Vim and I am sure you will say “Wow… that’s great!”.

If you hear this editor for the first time, I suggest you to read beginner tutorial here and here. Both tutorials are worthily to read. Spend your 20 minutes to be more effective and powerful in the future.
